I know I missed a blog post Tuesday, but we are only one day late guys! So here is my run down on New York fashion week. I know we are glued to the bloggers who are there so we have got my little cute run down from being an online stalker.
Oscar De La Renta
Back to my one true love, we all know I am a huge fan of Oscar De La Renta, and this show was no let down. It is an interesting collection combining fabrics and prints from the middles east – needless to say quite a risky move in these sensitive times. However I do think it adds a collaboration of culture, that some how make the Middle East more endearing.
Unusual brand for me I know, however this is also probably a new one I have discovered at NYFW. Australian brand, which has funnily enough been around for years, why on earth have I not heard of them! It is a relaxed collection, playing to its seventies bohemian style but making it modern for the contemporary women.
So where would Melissa be without her clash of colour, and popping prints! This is like a fruit bowl of pyjama style prints and fabrics, which I just love. Not only the clashing prints but the clashing fabrics, adding softness but with a strong feminine edge.
